To help meet COVID-19 requirements, HiMama now offers the ability to record Temperature checks! Follow the steps below to easily document these entries.
#1: Click on 'Classroom Actions' and 'Add Entry', and select a classroom.
#2: Click on the 'Temperature' box.
#3: Tap on each child's name that you'd like to complete the Temperature check for.
#4: Adjust the time if necessary.
#5: Select if the Temperature was Normal, or Fever.
#6: Enter the temperature.
#7: Add any notes if needed (teachers are encouraged to enter their initials in the notes section).
#8: Click on 'Create Entry' to save it.
Administrators can also view a report on Temperature checks performed in your center.
#1: Click on 'Reports'.
#2: Under the ‘Monthly Classrooms Reports’ section of the page, click on the 'Temperature Check'
#3: Select the desired date range.
#4: Select to if the report should include one or all centers (if you have multiple centers.)
#5: Select 'Generate Report' to export a log of your center-wide temperature checks. This will be exported as .CSV file.
The report will show you a summary of Temperature checks performed on the present day. You can view previous days by selecting the date in the top left-hand corner or by clicking on the left and right arrows.
The exported file will reveal a complete log of all Temperature checks performed during that time period! This is useful for licensing reviews or incident management.
Things to Note:
- Unlike regular Health entries, Temperature checks will be made visible to parents at the end of the day, allowing you time to discuss any concerns internally or with family prior to them being available in HiMama.
- If you have a multi-center childcare, you can select to generate a report for one or all centers, you cannot select particular centers.
