When composing a message in HiMama, you have the option to send a message in real-time or schedule it to send at a future point in time.
Follow the steps below and see how easy it is!
#1: Click on 'Messaging'.
#2: Click on the 'Compose' button.
#3: Select who you'd like to send the message to.
#4: Check this box if you'd like the teachers to see the message.
#5: This option will change according to what you selected in step 3. Select a classroom, child, staff member, etc.
#6: Make sure you select 'Email'.
#7: Enter the subject and content of the message.
#8: Upload a file if necessary (one file per message).
#9: Once you're satisfied with the message, click on 'Schedule Send' at the bottom of the page.
#10: Select a desired time and date.
#11: Once you hit ‘Save’ you will then get a second chance to review the message before it’s scheduled.
#12: Looks good? Now your message is ready to be scheduled. Click on the 'Schedule Send' button once again to confirm.
Things to note
Keep in mind that only email messages can be scheduled. You cannot schedule a text message (SMS).
Only administrators can schedule and view scheduled messages.
Messages are scheduled to be delivered using the same timezone as your center's location.
For multi-center administrators, scheduled messages will be sent from the location in which you drafted the message.
