The Crew is the close group of friends and family that you want to share updates with. This might include grandparents, aunts and uncles, or close friends, and might include those that aren’t living close enough to see your child as much as they’d like. As a parent or guardian, you can easily invite your family members as a Crew member by following the steps below:
#1: Click on the menu icon at the top;
#2: Click on 'Crew'.
#3: If you have multiple children in your account, select the one you'd like that this member have access to.
#4: Click on the green button 'Add Crew Member'.
#5: Enter their name, email address and the relationship with the child. According to the option selected, their access level will change;
#6: Click on 'Save' to add the member. You can also click on the 'Add Another Crew Member' link to add another crew member.
When the Access Level is 'Administrator', it means the user will have full access to Daily Reports, Calendars, Billing and emails from the center. This option is meant mainly for a child's parent or guardian.
When selecting any option other than 'Parent' or 'Guardian', you can choose the Access Level to be 'view all photos added by child care center by default' or 'view photos you've chosen to share with Crew'. Choosing the second, means you need to manually share the photo with the crew member.
After clicking on 'Save', the member will receive an email with the subject 'Welcome to the HiMama App: Create your login' as you can see in the example below. Please advise them to click on the link 'Set your password' to create their password.
Things to note
If you have multiple children in your account, you need to add the Crew member into each child's profile individually by switching between children as shown on step 3.
Only administrators can add family and friends to a child’s Crew.
