Have parents hoping to make a partial payment in HiMama? No problem! Invoicing in HiMama does not require payment to be collected all at once. You can either add a partial payment to an invoice directly (discussed below), or add a previously recorded Credit. You can learn more about Credit & the Credit Ledger HERE
From the dropdown menu next to “View Invoice” select “Add Partial Payment”.
Enter the payment method, amount paid, and any relevant notes. Select “Create Partial Payment” to save!
Parents will be able to see that the invoice was marked with a partial payment, including their outstanding balance.
Partial Payments and Payment Processing
If your center uses Payment Processing, you can use it to collect the remainder of an invoices outstanding balance.
To do this, mark the partial payment or apply the credit before you send your invoice.
If your parents have Autopay enabled, processing will automatically start on the Due Date. To be able to add a partial payment or credit before then, you may need to adjust when the invoices get generated. This will give you time to review and adjust the invoices as necessary. *Please note, you cannot use Payment Processing to make a partial payment(s). It can only be used to collect the remainder of an invoice.
