If a teacher forgets to check a child in or out, don't worry! Now you can add an attendance entry for past dates.
Please check the steps below to add the times from the Weekly Attendance Report:
- Click on 'Reports'
- Click on 'Attendance' under the 'Weekly Classroom Reports' section and choose a classroom.
- Click on the
icon on the desired date.
- Select the hour and minutes.
- Click on 'Save'.
Please, check the steps below to add the times from a specific child's Attendance report:
- From the child's profile, click on 'Attendance'.
- Click on the
icon on the desired date.
- Select the hour and minutes.
- Click on 'Save'.
When selecting a date where the child was active in more than one classroom, it's necessary to choose the classroom name that the entry should be applied to:
You can also add the check-in/out times for a classroom a child used to be in but is now enrolled in a different class. Simply select the appropriate date.
Things to note
- Adding a check-in time for a past date will create a new, open, and empty daily report for the child. If you'd like to send the report for that day, it's necessary to manually click on 'send'.
- The system doesn't allow you to add a check-out time without a check-in time.
- At the moment, it's not possible to add other entries such as activity, food, mood, etc. for a past date; only check-in/out times.
