If your device loses wifi, you can still continue to use HiMama! The system will automatically save the updates you created while not on wifi. That way, when you get reconnected to wifi, all of your hard work will still be saved :)
Follow the steps below to ensure all updates you created while not on wifi are saved!
Step 0. Make sure your Edit Reports page is loaded onto your device while on wifi.
Note: If your device goes offline, you will see a yellow banner across your screen indicating that you are currently offline.
Step 1. Tap the children applicable to this update you wish to create and add quick description if needed.
Note: If you are wanting to attach a photo to an activity update, navigate to your device's camera app, take a photo and then navigate back to HiMama. DO NOT CLOSE THE APP COMPLETELY, SIMPLY CLICK TO YOUR HOME SCREEN. You will be able to attach the photo after the update was created back on wifi.
Step 3. Once you tap "Create Entry" you'll see a pop-up notifying you that you're offline, just tap "OK". That's it! Your entry you just created will be saved!
You can navigate to the "Edit Reports" page and see the entry you just created is already there! Attach the photo or video you took while not connected to wifi if need be.
This will be saved and visible for parents once your device is connected back to wifi.
