Using the Parent Sign-in Page
Parent Sign-in page is available only from a web or mobile browser (not in the app). This is to prevent parents from potentially accessing other areas within the app.
You must be logged in to access the Parent Sign-in page. We also recommend making the web browser page full screen, and closing any other website tabs to prevent your parents from clicking into the wrong area.
Configuration Options
No Identification Collected - Parents check in / out their children without a prompt for entering any information.
Name/Initials (Typed) - Parents check in / out their children and they're prompted to type their name or initials.
Electronic Signature - Parents check in / out their children and they're prompted to electronically sign their name. We recommend this only if a signature is state/province required.
Configure Your Parent Sign-in Page
1. Update Your Center Settings
Log into HiMama as an administrator. Once logged in, go to "Logins & Configurations" in the menu bar.
In the "Center Settings" section, select the option that best fits your center's requirements. Scroll down and click "Save".
2. Open the Parent Sign-in Page in your Web or Mobile Browser
Once this setting has been configured, navigate to the Parent Sign-in link (available on web or mobile browser only, not in the app) and select the classroom.
This will open up a new tab on your browser where your parents can sign their children in and out. Make sure to close out any other tabs/windows on your device so parents cannot navigate away from this page.
Note: The parent sign in link is available on both the director side and educator side however educators will only be able to access the children in their class while the director can view a list of children in any class.
3. View Signatures - E-signature configuration only (Admins only)
To view the signature for each child as a director, go to the Reports page and "Attendance" under "Weekly Classroom Reports"
Any time stamp with a pencil icon beside it indicates that a signature was provided during pick up and drop off. Click the "View" option to see the entry with its signature.

Can you clarify for me - is this parent sign in done on the app or does it open into a browser??
Hey there! The parent sign in link is available on the web browser for directors. If you're using a tablet, you can open up a web browser and login as a director to access this page.
Can the parent sign-in be done with the app?
Hi The Learning Place! The parent sign in can only be done from a web browser. This is to ensure that the parents using the parent sign in/out page cannot navigate away from it
Do parents sign in at the front desk then or in the classroom when checking in and out of the center? Currently we use Procare and parents check in and out at the kiosk at the front desk. Would we put a computer or tablet at the front desk in place of the kiosk or can they check in directly to their classroom?

The parents can sign in on either computer or a tablet with the parent sign in page, or your educators can check in children in the classroom.
