There are 3 main ways that parents receive information through HiMama:
1. Using the app
2. Receiving daily reports and pictures via email
3. Logging into www.himama.com through a web browser
When a teacher adds an activity, they have the option to only include in the report (parents will only get notified at the end of the day). They can see this photo or video if they login to HiMama from the app or web browser but will NOT get an email.
If they select "Email photo or video now" this will send off the update right away AND send them an email.
If parents would like to receive fewer notifications they can turn them off through the app. They can also choose to receive fewer emails by logging into a web browser, go to "User Settings" and select "Send me fewer emails"
*Please note that photos found in emails will only be there for 48 hours and then will disappear. This is a feature built-in for privacy protection in case your email security were to be compromised.
All photos and reports will always be accessible through the HiMama app or by logging in to your HiMama account through a web browser.*
